Coast Guard responds to sperm whale calf in distress

MIAMI -- An injured 9-foot sperm whale calf in distress at the Miami Beach Marina Aug. 24, 2010. The Coast Guard established a safety zone, issued an urgent marine information broadcast, and provided transports to National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration scientists.
