ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - Crewmembers from Coast Guard Air Station Clearwater, Fla., medically evacuated a 56-year-old man from a boat 60 miles west of Johns Pass, Fla., at about 11 a.m. Sunday.
Watchstanders at Coast Guard Sector St. Petersburg received a call from a 28-foot boat at about 10:10 a.m. reporting that Larry Foreman, 56, was experiencing chest pains.
A Coast Guard Air Station MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew was immediately launched to evacuate Foreman, and he was taken to Tampa General Hospital, in Tampa, Fla.
His condition is unknown.
