| Coast Guard assists, transfers injured Haitians |
|
PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti - Crewmembers from the Coast Guard Cutters Mohawk and Tahoma assist the Haitian coast guard in transporting critically injured persons from a makeshift clinic at the Haitian coast guard base to the Tahoma Jan. 16, 2010, where they were then flown-off to a hospital in Haiti to receive further medical treatment. A 7.0 magnitude earthquake struck Haiti Jan. 12, 2010 injuring thousands. U.S. Coast Guard photos by Seaman Melissa Cardwell.
