Michael Glander, commanding officer of the Coast Guard Cutter Oak, will hold a press conference onboard the cutter at Coast Guard Sector Miami to upload medical supplies for the Haitian response effort, Thursday, Jan. 15, 2010. The Oak, a coastal buoy tender home ported in Charleston, S.C., is one of many Coast Guard units delivering aid to Haiti in support of relief efforts following an earthquake that devastated the country Jan. 12, 2010. |
