| Coast Guard Cutter Oak returns from 30-day deployment |

CHARLESTON, S.C. -- The Coast Guard Cutter Oak returned home to Charleston Saturday after a 30-day deployment to Florida, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, Port Au Prince, Haiti, and San Juan, Puerto Rico During this deployment, the cutter Oak, a 225-foot seagoing buoy tender, conducted an international engagement with In addition, Oak crewmembers attempted to tow an inoperable 40-foot Haitian boat to Oak crewmembers provided aids-to-navigation by fixing, replacing and positioning many discrepant navigational aids throughout the Port Au Prince, Three stationary aids were constructed in partnership with the Navy.
