| Coast Guard suspends search for missing boater near Key West |
|
KEY WEST, Fla. - Coast Guard crews have suspended search efforts for Dorel Zafiu Tuesday pending further information and developements. Zafiu was reported missing Sunday after he failed to return from a two-day fishing trip that began Sept. 14. During the course of the search, Coast Guard crews saturated a 7,000-square-mile area from Cape Sable, Fla. to Marquesas, Fla. and an area in the Atlantic Ocean around Cay Sal Bank, Bahamas.
