MIAMI. - Crewmembers from the Station Miami Beach will offload nearly 700 pounds of marijuana, seized from a 35-foot vessel at the Integrated Support Command in Miami Wednesday at 4 p.m. While on routine law enforcement patrol in the Florida Straits, crewmembers aboard the Coast Guard Cutter Drummond located a suspicious U.S. flagged vessel about 6 a.m. Wednesday. The crew of the Drummond boarded the vessel, found nearly 700 pounds of marijuana, and detained the two suspects. The two suspects were transferred to law enforcement officials ashore.
