 **Update** Coast Guard assists Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit

KEY WEST, Fla. - Coast Guard smallboat crews from Station Key West and Aids to Navigation Team Key West enforced a safety zone Tuesday while crewmen from Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit Nine, Mayport, Fla., located and identified multiple unexploded ordnance near Boca Grande Key, Fla.

The EOD crew raised two ordnance to the surface and identified them as inert. All other ordnance in the area will remain.

The safety zone near Boca Grande was cancelled Tuesday afternoon and Lake Passage was reopened after removal operations concluded.
