Coast Guard searching Trout River for missing fisherman

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Coast Guard and local law enforcement are searching the Trout River for a missing 16-year-old Black male who disappeared Sunday afternoon while fishing. 

A 25-foot rescue boat crew from Coast Guard Station Mayport, Fla., the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department and dive teams from the Jacksonville Sheriff's Officer are responding. 

The name of the missing fisherman is being withheld following proper notification of next-of-kin.
