Coast Guard searching for overdue boater from Fort Myers
 

FORT MYERS, Fla. - The Coast Guard is requesting the public's help in locating an overdue boater who failed to arrive in Key West, Fla. Aug. 16.

Search-and-rescue coordinators at Coast Guard Sector St. Petersburg, Fla., recieved a call Aug. 15 from a friend of Christopher Michael Marino, a 29-year-old man from Fort Myers, reporting that Marino had left Fort Myers Aug. 10 and had failed to arrive in Key West as expected. 

Marino is reported to have left Fort Myers Aug. 10 at 2 p.m. in a 27-foot white hulled Morgan Racer sailboat.

Anyone with information regarding Marino's whereabouts is requested to contact Coast Guard Sector St. Petersburg at 727-824-7506.
