Coast Guard defines security zones for Cape Canaveral shuttle launch

Federal security zones will be enforced around Port Canaveral, Fla., for all maritime traffic beginning Tuesday at 7 a.m. for the scheduled launch of NASA shuttle STS-127. Boaters are asked to stay clear of the security zones until 15 minutes after the shuttle is launched, currently scheduled for Saturday at 7:12 a.m. In addition, the Coast Guard will be enforcing a safety zone, as described in Federal regulation 33 CFR 165.775, 45 minutes prior to the launch.
