THOMAS, U.S. Virgin Islands - The Coast Guard Cutter Reef Shark, an 87-foot patrol boat homeported in San Juan, Puerto Rico, visits the island of St. Thomas while on its maiden voyage Wednesday, April 2, 2009. The Reef Shark is the final 87-foot patrol boat commissioned for service in the Coast Guard and will be responsible for conducting search and rescue, law enforcement, maritime safety, and homeland defense operations throughout the Caribbean Sea.
