WHAT: The Coast Guard Cutter Tornado crew will be available for interviews for all attending media. WHO: The crew of the 179-foot Coast Guard Cutter Tornado who rescued Nick Schuyler. WHEN: Wednesday, March 4 at 2:45 p.m. WHERE: Coast Guard Sector St. Petersburg's South Moorings, located at 1301 Beach Drive S.E., St. Petersburg, FL 33701 WHY: Crewmembers from the Coast Guard Cutter Tornado rescued Nick Schuyler from an overturned vessel 35 miles west of Tampa Bay, Fla., Monday, March 2, 2009. Watchstanders at Coast Guard Sector St. Petersburg, Fla., received a call Sunday around 1:30 a.m. reporting that four friends, Schuyler, Victor "Marquis" Cooper, Corey Smith and William Bleakley did not return from their fishing trip.. |
