Sunken Dredge on St. Johns River High / Res imageI 

Only a portion of a 70-foot dredge sticks out of the St. Johns River Nov. 7 after the vessel capsized about 12:20 a.m. today spilling about 600-feet of dredge pipe into the river. The Coast Guard Marine Safety Office in Jacksonville closed the Port of Jacksonville today. The port remained closed until 12 p.m. today.  U.S. Coast Guard photo by Petty Officer Scott Carr.
