    Marine Safety Information Bulletin 13 - Saint Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands

Recovery Efforts Hurricane Omar

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico -Sector San Juan Marine Safety and Security Duty Officers are notifying all facilities and vessels in the San Juan Captain of the Port zone Friday that the port of Christiansted in Saint Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, including the Devcon International (WAPA) Channel and the Gallons Bay Terminal are open for operations.

The Schooner Channel in Christiansted, Saint Croix remains in PORT CONDITION ZULU.  All port operations shall remain suspended in this port pending port assessments.

Earlier today the Captain of the Port announced that the port of Frederiksted and the ports in Limetree Bay Saint Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, including Hovensa, the Container Port, Krausse Lagoon Channel, and the Cross Channel are all open for normal operations.
