Coast Guard To Establish Safety Zone For Building Demolition CLEARWATER BEACH, Fla. - The Coast Guard Captain of the Port of Tampa will establish a temporary safety zone along Clearwater Beach from 9:30 p.m. to midnight, Wednesday, for the demolition of the Spyglass Hotel in Clearwater Beach.The safety zone will reach from Pier 60 to Clearwater Pass and will extend 250 yards offshore. Marine traffic will not be permitted to enter the safety zone without permission of the COTP or his designated representative. The Coast Guard will be making broadcasts on VHF-FM channel 16 prior to and during the safety zone enforcement period Wednesday.
